Important informational disclaimers

Truth Veteran publishes educational guides, statutory summaries, and interactive disability calculation tools. We operate under explicit disclaimers:

• No government affiliation: Truth Veteran is an independent private publisher. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected in any manner to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Department of Defense (DoD), or any other governmental agency.
• Not a Veterans Service Organization: We are not a Veterans Service Organization (VSO) chartered under federal law.
• No accredited representation: Our staff members, editors, and contributors are not VA-accredited claims agents, attorneys, or service officers. We do not provide legal advice, medical diagnoses, formal benefits counseling, or individualized claims representation.
• No claims assistance for a fee: We do not prepare, present, or prosecute claims for VA benefits, and we will never charge fees for claims help. Veterans desiring formal claims representation should seek assistance from recognized VSO representatives or accredited professionals.
• Calculators are estimates only: All interactive tools and calculators run locally in your browser and provide informational estimates based on published rating tables. They do not constitute official VA adjudication, nor do they guarantee any specific benefit award or rating percentage.

Store orders, pricing, and cancellation policy

When you place an order for apparel or merchandise through our online store, the following commercial terms apply:

• Made-to-order production: Our t-shirts and hats are produced on demand by our manufacturing partner, Printful. Orders are sent to Printful and confirmed for production automatically as soon as payment succeeds.
• Order changes and cancellations: If you need to change or cancel, email us right away at [email protected] with your order number. We can change or cancel only until Printful starts making it, which can be within a few hours; after that we can’t stop it.
• Pricing errors: We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, inaccuracies, or typographical mistakes at any time. If an item is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a complete refund.
• Geographic availability: We currently accept orders and ship exclusively to addresses within the United States.
• Returns and refunds: Because items are custom printed on demand, we do not accept returns or exchanges for buyer’s remorse or incorrect size selection. Please verify measurements on our apparel size guide before buying. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or misprinted, notify us within 30 days of delivery with a clear photograph as outlined in our returns policy.

Intellectual property and acceptable use

All content on Truth Veteran, including text, articles, editorial research, site graphics, typography, software code, and logo marks, is the exclusive intellectual property of Ecommerce Scale Inc. or its licensors and is protected by United States copyright and trademark laws.

Our apparel designs utilize original typography and simple star or compass motifs, and do not display official military seals, service-branch names, emblems, or government coats of arms. You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, mirror, or distribute our content without prior written permission. You agree not to interfere with website operations, bypass security controls, introduce malicious code, or submit false inquiries through our contact page.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ecommerce Scale Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and fulfillment partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or damages arising out of your access to, use of, or inability to use our website, tools, or products.

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the website shall not exceed the greater of fifty United States dollars ($50) or the amount you paid to us for the specific product giving rise to the claim in the past six months.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to your use of Truth Veteran shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Minnesota, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located within Minnesota for the resolution of any legal proceeding.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our operational procedures, store offerings, or legal obligations. When changes are made, we will update the effective date at the top of this document. Continued use of our site following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the modifications.
