About this design
A Veterans Day shirt, hoodie, and mug reading NOVEMBER 11 HONORING ALL WHO SERVED U.S. VETERANS, printed to order.
This design reads NOVEMBER 11 HONORING ALL WHO SERVED U.S. VETERANS, framed by five stars above and three stars below. When the guns fell silent on the Western Front on November 11, 1918, the date became known as Armistice Day. In 1954, following the Second World War and the Korean conflict, Congress officially widened the observance into Veterans Day so the nation would have one day on the calendar dedicated to every person who ever wore the uniform.
The monument-style typography on this piece states that purpose plainly: honoring all who served, regardless of era, specialty, or whether their tour was in wartime or peacetime. Because it uses no military branch seals or unit crests, it can be worn by veterans themselves as well as by spouses, children, teachers, and community supporters attending November 11 parades, school assemblies, VSO breakfasts, and civic ceremonies.
This layout is built for our printed collection: heavyweight cotton tees, long-sleeve shirts, pullover hoodies, ceramic coffee mugs, and vinyl stickers, all printed to order.

Why is Veterans Day observed on November 11?
November 11 marks the anniversary of the armistice that ended fighting in World War I at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918. Congress made November 11 a legal federal holiday in 1938 (52 Stat. 351), and President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed Public Law 83-380 on June 1, 1954, renaming the holiday Veterans Day to honor American veterans of all wars; it is codified today at 5 U.S.C. § 6103(a).
What is the difference between Veterans Day and Memorial Day?
Under 5 U.S.C. § 6103(a), Veterans Day on November 11 honors all who have served in the United States armed forces in wartime or peacetime, whereas Memorial Day on the last Monday in May honors service members who died while serving.
