About this design
An honorably served veteran hat, polo, and shirt reading HONORABLY SERVED between two gold stars, for veterans who separated under honorable conditions.
HONORABLY and SERVED sit on either side of a gold rule, with a five-point star at each end. The words describe the ordinary, unglamorous fact at the center of most military careers: the person finished the job and left with a discharge under honorable conditions. There is no campaign, no year, and no particular assignment attached, which is the point.
